Kaijujitsu: Agasukeron Custom by Kazumitsu Akamatsu
Quick shot of this custom painted by Kazumitsu Akamatsu, head of Marmit マーミット.
Absolutely beautiful! This is painted on a clear red w/ glitter figure (Wombat ウォンバットトイズ) in such as way that the gold paint areas really shimmer (head, waist, and "fins" on arms). The paint is perfect! Signed on bottom of foot.
Purchased from the Toy Karma 2 Show exhibition at Rotofugi in Chicago.

Toy Karma 2 at Rotofugi in September 2009!!!
Prior to the show, from Mark Nagata's Blog:
"After 2 years since the first, ground breaking show, this September 5th, 2009, Toy Karma, the Kaiju and Japanese art toy show returns to Rotofugi Gallery in Chicago ! I am honored to once again be curating this show. This show features a staggering 68+, gathering of artists, designers and customizers , the largest gathering ever for this type of show ! I dare not single out any one artist, so look at the list and I am sure you will recognized familiar names, but we wanted to make sure we also had up and coming artists, too. Check out Rotofugi's web site and forum for more updates, we will also have the Toy Karma web site updated in a few days as well... Exclusive toys and artists attending will be posted in the weeks to come ... ! I will be there for the opening and look forward to seeing all the cool Kaiju art !!"

I submitted four photos for the recent Super7 It Came From Skullbrain “Imagery of Japanese Toys” show in San Francisco. One of them is shown above, and the rest are below. I have included some information about each photo and the price that will be charged by Super7 if you would like to buy one.
If you would like to purchase any of them, PLEASE CONTACT SUPER7 DIRECTLY. You can find them here at Super7's webstore under my name, Geozilla. Note: In all cases, the listed prices are less than what I paid to have each of the respective photos matted and framed. Some of them were more expensive because of the size and quality of the frame. Also, Super7 is doing maintenance on their website this week, so it will be down now and then. If you don't get through, please try again later.
All of my photos were printed by me on professional archival quality photo paper (luster finish) using and Epson R2880 printer and Epson Ultrachrome K3 ink (this ink has a lightfastness rating of over 100 years). Also, all were framed using anti-reflective “Museum Glass” that is really very effective at reducing glare (it is much less visible compared to the regular glass used for framing) and provides 99% UV protection.
If you have any questions you can leave a comment here.
Enjoy!
